Thanks, all of you, for your encouragement and insight. I agree that among Stern DMD's from 2012 to 2016, TWD is a tougher sell. The theme is resolutely *not* family friendly and the layout is diabolically frustrating to all but skilled players. I would disagree though with Whysnow re: the prevailing price point for a modded TWD PRO sitting at just $4K. MET and TWD PROs with color displays routinely fetch $5K, not $4K. HUO DMD Premiums in stock trim were bringing $6K all day as recently as a month ago. As to how much more a HUO Premium should fetch than a HUO PRO, all other things being equal, I would say $1.5K is a fair number. The two versions are separated by $1.8K when new. If we figure a HUO TWD PRO should bring $4.3K in the Corona Market, the Premium should bring $5.8K - and it does not. There are plenty of threads about the Novel Corona Pinball Market, and yet scant few sellers are paying any attention to the realities of supply/demand. Obviously there are dozens of sale games pouring onto Pinside each week right now, and obviously people whose incomes are disrupted by the pandemic will be buying fewer games, etc. So, we have a glut. Fine. And yet I'm among the *very* few sellers who are desperate enough to offer their pins priced at a discount. How could that be? But "desperate" is the wrong word. Try "realistic." I don't know that I'm quite heading to $5.5K, but I'm getting closer. I would much prefer to trade this beautiful game. Oh, and as for my "collection," this is it.

Part of my frustration stems from the irony of the fact that I searched high/low for a TWD Premium for more than a year before I found/bought this one. I paid a fair-market price and then promptly spent $500 more on parts/mods. I'm just catching some bad selling luck, timingwise. I think even in a pinball town like Minneapolis, the size of the active market isn't as large as we might assume. There might be a hundred people in the market for pinballs in this region right now. Of those, perhaps five would consider a TWD - and of those, perhaps one would pay up for the Premium over the PRO. Toss in the Novel Coronavirus and that one potential buyer turns into zero, etc. So, I have no illusions about why I'm taking a bath here. Just tough luck. Still, I count my blessings that I can still roll the proceeds from the sale of this game into another. All I want is for that seller to price his game realistically, too! Doesn't that seem fair to you? Fingers crossed!
