While I can appreciate the ingenuity, I'm confused about what exactly this is fixing. I don't see anything that needs to be fixed on my game. Is this simply a way to extend the inlane/outlane post in order to help alleviate side drains?

Amen to that! The outlanes on my Pinbot make the outlanes on my TWD look like a walk in the park.
