Looks like there was a post hole drilled in the prototype. I see nifty rubber there too
Remember Avengers? They gaffled up the inserts on the Pro. Same for the red inserts on ACDC, goofed up Tron Gem shot & Xmen Wolverine on the LE.
Maybe the designer intended a post & gomez cut it like he wanted to cut the crossbow just to save $0.34 per game sold like Metallica spinners? Perhaps it's just some shit they forgot with the emails back/forth during the proof process?
Perhaps it was scrapped to make a somewhat shallow bash game more difficult?
