Visited Modern Pinball in NYC a couple of weeks ago. I spent most of my three hours there playing a TWD Pro.

I liked it so much that I am in the market now for a Premium or LE. Should have one in the house soon.

Just something about the game that clicked with me. I love the layout, rules, theme. Really a great package.

I just got an LE and love it. I've owned most of the top rated Sterns and have generally agreed with their rankings, but think that TWD is way under rated. It's tough to overcome some of the initial problems and perceptions, but don't believe the playfield has any serious flaws. The ball can spend too much time in the pops, the voice work is lacking and the crossbow is weak for being an expensive toy - but almost every shot feels great, the layout is different but still familiar enough to work, and the code is already a rush and destined to get a lot better. I'd be surprised if it didn't continue to gain in popularity as more people play the new code on well set-up games.

give it time...it will rise, wait n see. Already have seen many folks in the market looking for the machines now since the new code and sound pack revisions from 2nd party.....I have owned over a dozen Stern machines and TWD easily falls in top 4 for fun factor.
