I received an email stating to contact my distributor for kit # 502-6942-00.

Anyone know what this kit consists of?

#2 5 years ago

Nope, I sent them an email last week stating that the ramp was horseshit, but I phrased it a little differently. I hope to be getting the same email soon. Good news.

2 little squares of sticky back foam for under the flap and an extended ball guard plastic that replaces the existing one on top of the ramp to stop airballs.

Sounds like we still need cliffy then.

Yes ,don't get too excited about the Stern fix

Thanks for posting. I will need to send an email about this kit as well.

I got an alert from ups yesterday saying I have a package coming on the 5th. Weight is .40 lbs so i'm guessing it's the fix kit as I have not ordered anything.

Yes it horrible played about 10-15 games and have pf Damage from the ramp as well !!!
Just gonna have to wait for the fix kit to get here I guess I should have just kept my pro

That's not a good reason to go for the pro over the Pre/LE. A little piece of felt and the PF wear in that spot becomes a non issue. Embrace your LE as its great.

Surprised this was not corrected for the premium.

I'm sure cliffy will get this solved eventually so I would play the game and enjoy it knowing eventually some metal will go over the damage.

The kits seem to be close to being sent to customers via distributors. Was on the phone with support today.

Sorry to ask a dumb question, but as a first time Pin owner, I am just wondering how I would get the part (and any other fixes/changes that come out) if I don't have an ongoing relationship with a distributor. I purchased my LE from Dirt Cheap Gaming if that makes a difference. Thanks for any info.

Well worst case scenario, you can contact Stern. But first I'd try Dirt Cheap Gaming, if they sold it I guess they're a distributor, so they'll be getting a kit for every LE they sold, so one is yours.

I got my fix kit today and installed it.
