Quoted from iceman44:

I have put down of the clear "Cling Vinyl" adhesive, non sticky. I use this on all my pins.
Shooter lanes, in lane drops, high wear areas (like fish in RS).
Works like a charm

Where do you get that from, never heard of it or seen in on a pin? Thanks Ice

Thank you very much.

Added red led flipper buttons today, was hoping more of my mods would have arrived this week but no luck. Did my STLE as well looks good. Waiting for my lights but did one star post going to change them all to red, white rubbers look good on this pin.

I used a piece of felt today without sanding the plastic down at all, its much better. With the sanding and felt or weather stripping I think problem solved. Much better with the arrow up the left ramp now as well.

Just moved the PF a little while raised but I always put the felt strips on first, good amount of play and it was easy to install, the easiest I've done yet in fact. My screws were stripped as well, could probably get them off if I really wanted to but I tried just straight felt, well its actually the fuzzy side of Velcro and it worked quite well. I'm going to take my time later and experiment a bit more as the flap isn't making direct contact but working alright, I don't think the ball ever actually hits the point anyway. big difference. Good Luck

Will you be including the instruction cards? They look great. I want this mod when available for sure, really glad you guys did this for the LE, thank you.

Mezel mods arrived, the ramp illumination is quite simply beautiful I recommend the blue. Tab on the Well walker glows when light it is on, and the woodbury sign is nice too. I like the prison door roof mod, Hitchhiker mod coming soon. You know I just figured out that so far I'm out around 200 and with the shaker, a new apron (red translucent from Pin Ref), few more small mods around $500 to make this thing look like it should have been factory, why Stern? Even if they didn't include a shaker, these minor extras really make the game look LE. Anyway just happy that they are available at all. After taking off the Well Walker today, which is simple I hope someone creates a cool looking Zombie to replace it, I'm going to try and find something. Need to get that 12v multi splitter from Pinball Life.

I think I have a pretty good way to make the outlanes a little more tolerable, still drains but kinda makes it like there was a third level of movement of the post available. Used a full inch rubber on the posts and 2 of the 3/16 for thin post on the plastic piece. Worth a try.

No problem, It has helped exponentially. Still challenging but a lot better.

Its up to you for the three posts whether you like a tight fit or a little bit looser, 1" or 1 1/2" always wise to pick up several sizes, the rubbers are so cheap and that way you can adjust it all to your preference.

I'm pretty good at pinball, been playing a long time and this pin kicks my ass way more than IM. It is tough but so rewarding when you have a great game and that makes it even better.

Quoted from tadowhere:

What is that red sleeve on the post?

What sleeve? The star post.

http://www.marcospecialties.com/pinball-parts/03-8319-9

I change as many thin posts to this style as I can, as long as it doesn't interfere with ball flow, some spots have to be the thinner style but I like the look of star posts better and you need to use a different rubber than the 3/16 ID. 5/16 ID

Pin Ref are making a red one now for the LE. Will look great I think.
There is more action from the rubbers now for sure, I have to say this is a must for your TWD, change the outlane rubbers to what I posted you will notice a difference, now most of my drains are between the flippers.

Quoted from n0s4atu:

Well, I have a mod I don't suggest anyone try. It's called dropping the pin that attaches the BG ramp to the plastic post that lifts it up and down. My game ate it!!!! I seriously just spent an hour and a half hunting for it and it's nowhere to be found. So now I have no ramp in there and a boxes of goodies to install and no more time. Frustrating. I want my Refinery backbox light kit in (plus speaker lights, plus undercab). Plus I got the Mezel hitchhiker sign. Ugh. And where's my topper Stern!!! Ok rant done.
If anyone knows what those pins are actually called I will order myself a bunch. Apparently my sausage fingers cannot manipulate them very well to get them back into place.
I have the star posts and I'm going to try Hazoff's trick above, that's really clever. Thanks.

Be sure to use the 3/16 ID rubbers on the lane guides as well or it won't help all that much, however both are a serious game changer.

Quoted from Breadfan:

Changing the top posts is one thing, but making the bottom ones fatter is a no no. By doing this you changed the game play dramatically,& not in a good way. If anything, make the top one fatter,& put the bottom ones back to stock. Trust me. You'll thank me later.

Its working well for me, all personal preference. Now that I changed them to red rubbers I got from Titan its great, the whites are a little too thick but these are more like the original black in terms of size and bounce. I see what you mean but I really like it.

I've had mine bare metal for at least 100 plays or so and it looks fine. I actually like it, but then again I have a modded Zombie in place of the WWalker.

A few of you fellas have PM me for my method to attach the Zombie behind the prison. I used an extra slingshot plastic and fit it under the prison and used the screw under the center ramp that's right under the fish tank. This will stop any chance of the bottom of the Zombie and contact with the ball, it was rare but did happen without it. I then used 9 felt pieces that act like wedge and hold secure but will allow for easy adjustment if needed. Here's a few pics and of how I placed my ramp illumination strip, its facing down and in toward the playfield, much great effect. I just added a red 7led strip from Comet to the back of the apron, plugged it into the 555 adapter, used the coin door light. It really makes the arrow glow and adds a nice red glare by the flippers.

Quoted from DevilsTuner:

Some of my friends are saying the layout is goofy

Well then they are most certainly goofy themselves. I've had a lot of pinballs come in and out over the years and this one is easily in the top 3 I've ever played, the layout is amazing.
