This just happened to me! Thank god for pinside and this post. I was stressing. My connector also has that yellowing. Plugged it all the way back on and GI is back.

The board is located under the playfield to the left near the left slingshot. There is a power connector on the left hand side of the board. Mine had worked itself loose probably due to the shaker motor. GI means General Illumination lights.
