Picked up a TWD Prem and having issues with the crossbow. When the ball enters it will swing out only 1/4 of the way and then return home. Even in a ball search it does not swing out all the way to eject the ball......help!

I can't give a specific answer, but while waiting for one to potentially come you can search the forum for the fix. I've seen various TWD crossbow issues identified and fixed here, and I'd expect your issue to be one of them.

Take the apron off and test the home switch. It's the switch to the left of the cross bow when Xbow is at rest. See if it registers in test mode.

My xbow issue had to do with the prison walker switch being made. Test the xbow in the coil test menu. If it works fine, then gap your prison walker switch some. If it doesn't work, check your xbow switches under apron.
