Nate, as you are in San Diego, I am 90% sure that I know the beta tester that you are talking about. A friend also told me about a well known player/beta tester who speaks very highly of the upcoming beta code.
So in the end, it doesn't matter who did the final code as long as it's good. That said, my understanding is the same that others have stated: Lyman has a TWD LE at home and has been working on the code...probably on his own time, just like he did with Spiderman, Tron, etc. No wonder he seems pissed in that post.

I'm still not sure who/how many people were involved in the code for Mustang, but whoever was involved did a really good job on that one...and even got it to a state of near completion in a pretty short period of time. Kudos to all involved on that one.
