I've been installing freddy's protectors today (images look pink, it's more red in real).
I like the color combination of the playfield very much now.
Also I've put those little self adhesive rubbers left and right just above the opto's on the left and right of the prison doors.
So the doors don't slam the plastic nr 10 anymore (sensitive for breaking) and also the decals on the doors don't get anymore damaged.
Below one of the pop bumpers is a grey rubber on the post. the grey goes off and makes your playfield dirty in that area. Don't know why they put a grey rubber there, but I've seen other machines and most have it.
Just take some cleaning product and clean that area and the rubber too, so it's black again.

I strongly advise everyone to put a mylar on the prison doors.

Quoted from NPO:

So what exactly is causing the silver dust in the pop area? Ive read of something causing it?

It's due to the metal ring body of the pop bumper coming down, and it is too close to a deflection pole, so the ring is getting ever so slightly shaved each time a particular pop bumper goes down. You can tell in the picture as the rubber on the deflection post is "stained silver" from the shaving dust. If you look REALLY closely, you can see the "grooved" area in the metal ring of the affected pop bumper. The ring is coming down on the spearhead of the deflection post.

Solution is to shave the metal body down a tiny bit to help it miss the deflection post. Easiest way is with a dremel at a LOOOOOOOOOOOW speed and your playfield plenty covered with micro-fiber cloths. Once the ring is filed down to your liking, remove the cloths and use a magnet to "blot" your playfield of any remaining shavings. Remember.......blot....not set magnet down and rub your playfield with it like a cloth.

Sorry but have to say this is not true,
it's just the little rubber on the deflection post that is painted grey from the factory and it's loosing it's paint when you play the game.
new games with zero gameplay have completely grey rubber at that spot... (i've seen a lots).
Once you play the rubber get less grey, because they loose all the paint and that area gets really dirty.
if you take that small rubber off, and you clean it,
it'll be black and there's never dirt in that area anymore...

Quoted from TBatti:

What is it made of? The original didn't last long and I order another one after market and it is breaking down quite quickly.

it's a professional material decal used for truck and trailer doorsteps...
very durable and holds good on metal... have good experience with this product

Quoted from TBatti:

Doesn't it damage/scratch the ball up?

nope, it's a structured decal, not sandpaper

I really like the game, big fan, already have mine since november 2014
Only one remark, that's woodbury... It's just too easy.
When choosing, if you click right flipper button enough times, you can choose whatever you want for the value of the upper right light,
which is too easy to get. The more difficult shots (like the rollovers) should be more rewarding than the easy shots.
