Quoted from PinballZach:I still just wish Stern would tell us the reason behind why the actors/sound clips from the show didn't make it into the game. That question has always bothered me.
Usually it boils down to $$$

Quoted from hyruleinaustin:Thank you so much, Delta9. I am really looking forward to this. I spent a lot of time playing pins around Austin Texas and reading reviews, and the reviews of TWD made me think I was missing something. Every game I played on it, good or bad, made me want to immediately play another game, but the reviews made me think I was wrong for enjoying it so much. But it is just too much fun.
The reviews on Pinside make you think every new game sucks. People on here can be absurd with their nit picking. It's a fcking great game, but it's hard. I have had it for months and can't break 100 mil.
But, it's still way fun. It's definitely one of those "just one more game" pins.
When you set it up, be anal about getting it level. If it's not, you will get tons of drains from the pops
Quoted from TBatti:Finally got my 1st PIN TWD Pro. Any help on set up for the cheap drains greatly appreciated.
Thanks Darren

Take the glass off and put a level on the PF - make sure it's level left to right
Quoted from JJ101:finally set my Premium up this evening, and a bit disappointed. It's running the latest code but every few games I'm getting a screech from the speakers.. it's random... I don't think you can upload sound clips so here is a link to it... please ...anyone hear of this yet? I guess I will call Stern on Monday

Is it the free credit buzzer?
Not sure why stern cannot better replicate the old knocker sound
Quoted from finnflash:Mezel mods has a light that does the same thing the topper does.
I didn't even realize my topper did that until I read this thread
Quoted from CreepyTom:Does a shaker motor have a lot of use in this game. Trying to figure out if buying one would be worth it.
2 things that are a must for this game -> shaker & a subwoofer
Quoted from FatPanda:I only saw a few pics, but has anyone put bloody hand/splatter decals on their TWD?
amazon.com link »
I bought them and they were horrible - couldn't find a good place for them where they looked decent
saving them for Halloween decorations
Quoted from Rensh:I placed two spotlights on each slingshot which gives a decent amount of light on the playfield
Befor and after picture
I am not the most technical, can you explain how you did this with pictures?
Quoted from gliebig:I added a flipper rubber to the right ramp area to try and cope with drains from the pops. It has helped a little but still extremely frustrating. Not sure what to try next.
Just added this which does help

But was playing GB this weekend and noticed they have a one-way gate in a similar place where TWD causes drains.
A one-way gate on TWD that always forced the ball to one side would be a great solution - not sure why they never came up with something like this.
