Ghostbusters left the building tonight, tomorrow I should officially be joining the club!

Quoted from Sparky:This was supposed to be delivered to me on Friday the 1st, but it got shipped a day later than planned. Wiith the holiday weekend, delivery was delayed until today. However, they said they were "too busy" to deliver today, so I drove the one hour to pick it up myself!
Enjoy. Rather than waiting a week or more for mine, I opted to drive 7 hours round trip to pickup mine the morning after ordering it Well worth the drive. I am loving the game.
Picked up my new topper last night. Need to get some acrylic baseball bat stands or hangers to mount this. Not sure if I will mount to the top or to the wall behind it. It's about 4" wider than the machine so I might mount it above it and to the wall. I am also thinking about adding some red led lighting under cabinet and behind the back box. If so I will throw a small strip on top to illuminate the bat more.
Still a work in progress here. Not sure how I best want to do this.

Quoted from Sparky:A little less on Amazon. That's where I got mine.
Nice find, I didn't even check Amazon. There are two of them. The one you linked is the "non-bloody" version and the one I have is the "bloody" version. Both are on Amazon for the same price. They show as $34 for me on Amazon this morning, but still cheaper than buying in store.
I experience both of those drains on my Pro. So turning the magnet was mentioned a few posts up. How easy is that to do? Also, I am assuming drain off the pops can be reduced by enlarging the post at the end of the right ramp. Do they make a thicker sleeve or have people just added a ring or two to the post?
Quoted from Doctor6:Guys. Why on earth would turning a magnet do ANYTHING to change how the ball reacts? It scientifically makes no sense. Has someone done this with reliably successful results?
I was trying to figure this out also. I do know that if I wait for the magnet to release it will generally drop the ball STDM. If I cancel it early by hitting the flippers it seems to pulse the magnet, throwing the ball in random directions. If someone can better elaborate how this works then it might make more sense.
Quoted from wxforecaster:Yeh, I aced electricity and magnetism in physics and this rotating the magnet thing makes no sense. The only thing you can do is cancel out of the animation at different points based on where the programmer decided to pulse the magnet.
I can add this tidbit based on how the software was programmed. If you hit both flippers right after the zombie gets hit in the head twice with the crowbar (a few seconds into the animation), you will cancel the animation and end up with a generally safe ball return. Not the SAME ball return, but one that typically involved some side action or a light toss upward. On mine, it's like 95% easily manageable and I've never had one fire down the middle (which is pretty common if you either wait through the animation or cancel out immediately).
Thanks, I will try that. I am still looking for a good fix for the drains coming of the pop bumpers. I have plunged the ball and had it return STDM, gotten the ball save and then had it do it again, this time the ball save has expired.
