Disconnected a 12v bright light mod that was prev installed here and washing out the red fade effect when you hit her - works great now! Really glad that he made a few more of these.

The color DMD is a MUST on this game. I prefer the LCD over the LED on this particular title. Not a big fan of any of the toppers on this game.
Sounds like you already have a shaker motor and the Cleland sound code which are also necessary on this game. The shaker is integrated so well.
I like the tower mod from Mezel Mods, just be careful because they break easily. I also purchased their plastic protectors which add some nice color to the game.
I would also highly recommend a couple spotlights on the slings and behind the well walker. This is a very dark game so any additional light will help.

Can't agree with this more. Warm is a must. I only left cool white in the rollover lanes up top to match the star rollover color, since you can't change those. GI and all other inserts are warm.

Yes, I have that topper and love it. I wish it was a little brighter but that can always be fixed with a new light strip.
The only other issue I had is that his topper didnt connect to the machine. So I had to find a connector to add it to the game, so that when the game turns on, the topper is on at the same time. Wasnt hard...
I got mine from cointaker years ago. maybe they still have some.

Great game for a ColorDMD, I swapped out the drop targets for translucent ones and thought it really helped brighten up that side of the playfield. I pulled more mods off mine than I added though, I find TWD can look really junked up with everything people jam into them... but I also get that people love it when they do that so to each their own.
What you really need to do however is watch this tutorial if you are unfamiliar with the game...
Then shoot the drop targets, then shoot them again, and then shoot them again... the game is driven around those drops! I love this game, top 2 or 3 that I've ever played for sure for sure.

I did not, I just found swapping out the drops to translucent really helped... I just looked my post up and I see I swapped in translucent rubbers too so I'm sure that really helped brighten things up too...

I love that finish. I wish I could put that on my game, but *unfortunately* I have a Prem on the way, so I have no idea what color to do the armor since the cabinet is basically greenish.

No, I got it done here in the uk but bought the powder from prismatic powders.
Silver Artery and lollypop Red.
Robert Stone is the goto guy for you in the USA.
He's done this exact same effect so he's the one to contact if anyone wants thiers powder coating.

Thanks for this!!! The pin coming has the clear drop targets. Nice to see they are recommended. I have saved that video for a later date. I have never seen the game in person and would like to just shoot the ball around and have some fun discovery.

It's always great to have a road map (video). But it's fun to Lewis & Clark it and find and make your own path on your expedition.
We harrass people who are caught reading a rule card round here as 'cheats'. 
But we harrass them for just about anything.
I have been watching the vid in small sections this morning.
Funny thing is the thing i really wanted to know was how to beat my mate Sean, who seems to know (but won't admit it), at Well Walker.
Problem is it's the first thing he talked about and i've already forgotten it.

That’s interesting… if it’s got translucent red pop bumper bodies and a brown powder coat it may be my old game.
The game is absolutely brutal… keep that in mind… it will drain just coming out of the pops… the prison magnet will just throw it down the middle on you and if you brick your ramp shots the outlanes will just gobble the ball up… still one of the most rewarding pins I’ve played and owned.

To score well at Well Walker you want to stack it with Blood Bath… stacking anything with Blood Bath really helps with scoring.

Mods- How do I get a post locked as a key post? This is my Radiohead NIN sound mod (on top of Cleland callouts). All instrumental and music fits perfectly with theme. I’ve given it out a lot and can’t even imagine the game without it.

Yes it does have the translucent red pop bumper. Grabbing it from Ottawa area. Sound right??
I think so… I sold it to a fellow in the GTA and then I think it landed in Ottawa after that. It has the tower mod which I had taken off and it had a terminus sign and flipper bat covers I think which I removed but left in the coin box.

I never really got deep into the show, so I don't mind the stock code, myself.

Thats the biggest part of it for me. I did watch the show until like season 8 or something, until it just got sooo bad lol. But the machine really is based on the first sesaon or so. So with that, i dont want Negan or others in it. The Cleland code is like 98% Negan (whos character was just absurdly annoying in the show anyways).
It has nothing to do with the crudeness. I actually like that kind of humor.
Edit, the machine does have inclusions up to season 4 or so, with the Tunnel, Terminus and Woodbury. On another note, why is there nothing to do with The Governor in this machine? He was a great character.

I think they were trying to make it "timeless" which is why there are NO characters referenced at all in the AV assets. Only the cab art has actual characters and even some of them are dead now on the show lol. I think the pro and LE art packages nailed it. Don't care for the green premium. For gameplay, I prefer the pro, although I miss the spinners.
