Quoted from PtownPin:Interesting....I have the same mirror blades...I need to see if mine has the same signature
Ours are signed on the back of the mirrored blade.. I think he has signed all of them. They look awesome..

Hooked up to the base speaker in cabinet with correct polarity. Is this wrong and if it is why would it play for year’s?
Quoted from locksmith:Hooked up to the base speaker in cabinet with correct polarity. Is this wrong and if it is why would it play for year’s?
Polarity is not the question here. Did you connect it to the high level speakers input or to a low level tulp input?

will check that and report back. Thanks

I don't know if it's wrong. If it was overloading the system it might work fine until something blows.
Just trying to help gather some information to figure out what may have happened.
Quoted from locksmith:Looks like the problem was the Polk sub woofer that took out the audio chips. I know because I turned on the Avengers and it also blew. I’m gonna take a sledge hammer to that piece of shit Polk.
Electrical engineer here (retired).
Any chance you hooked the Polk to the woofer in the pin? *Edit - saw you did*
If so, the safe way to hook up an active subwoofer is to use a 'high level to low level' adapter. That converts the large level at the pin's woofer to something smaller that is more appropriate for a 'line level' input on the Polk. Also provides ground isolation between the pin and the sub, and converts a 'balanced output' (the pin) to a 'single-ended' input (the Polk).
On some pins (typically older pins), it might not be needed, but doesn't hurt to have it in there just in case. Causes no harm if not needed.
I can elaborate further here or thru a PM if you want more detail of what potentially is going on.
Edit: The instigator might be hooking up the the Avengers, not entirely TWD. Was TWD and Avengers connected to the sub at the same time? I need to check the schematics to see how the amps are configured.
Here's an example of an adaptor:

Is that in essence what the Pinsub does? That's what I use in my IMDN and MET. https://pinnovators.myshopify.com/products/pinsub-spike-spike2-stern-kit
Quoted from Fezmid:Is that in essence what the Pinsub does? That's what I use in my IMDN and MET. https://pinnovators.myshopify.com/products/pinsub-spike-spike2-stern-kit
I don't want to speak for Pinsub, but that appears to be geared towards the Spike2 (but they have other products too). The product I mentioned is more generic (actually meant for car audio), but plenty of ways to accomplish the same task. Definitely don't want to steer people away from Pinsub, looks like they make a quality product and also make it a 'plug 'n play' for those that need that option.
My post was more about it's probably not the best idea to wire the cabinet woofer directly into the low-level input of an active sub, and potentially damaging something - either the sub's amp or the pin's amp. Being an electrical engineer, I tend to be more of a DIY kinda person, and using the adaptor is a safer way to connect a sub.

Similar system here for the aussies. You can run three machines off the sub with the mixer.

The adapters are basically a stepdown audio transformer, plus a few more parts.
I actually went the mixer route too. Sweeetwater Sound (sort of the Amazon equivalent for musical stuff) is local to me, so I picked up a really nice 6 channel mixer demo unit on the cheap that I use to drive two active subs.
Just finished a shop job on my TWD premium and I can’t seem to find where this white/green wire goes. Anyone know?
It’s the wire for the ramp switch on the back left (arena ramp)
Quoted from chill:Mine attaches like this. Hope it helps. It attaches to a green / red * pink pair.

Awesome, thank you for the help!
I found the male end of the connector and it’s been fixed!
PSA: remember to label your wires when you shop a machine

New TWD Pin getting delivered on Sunday. I'll post pictures once I get it set-up.
Looks like Mezel Mods still sells them:

I would highly suggest the cross bow with the laser....

3 wraps electrical tape and a zip tie.

Walker wasn't registering all the hits, removed it and adjusted the switch. figured I'd do something about the damaged can. If it doesn't hold. Im going to replace with all zips all the way down and remove the circle rubber plug in the front.
During my Shop Job, I removed the well walker mech and took a dremel to the outside to get it cleaned up and polished. It was nasty before. E70F5CC3-E0A5-4951-8F4E-3EF8742B2A95 (resized).jpeg

Purchased the walker belt from Mezel Mods and put a strip of mylar around it. Seems to be holding up great now!

Creative. Some have posted that they remove the rubber bumper and put a black flipper rubber around his waist. I picked up the proper decal, but I think I will be doing the black flipper rubber and save the decal for later.
I tried to find the post with the string/ jute wrapped around it... search came up empty...can someone post that pic again?

+1 for mylar strip over the well walker belt decal, works great and holds up well
Quoted from punkin:Do you have to pull it all to bits to do the flipper rubber thing?
I tried that, 2X larger than a Flipper. impossible to stretch that big. Mylar will possibly hold up a couple months.
Flipper rubber on the walker? That will totally change the way that walker plays... I wouldn't put more rubber on that thing... one of my favourite (And safest) shots to the walker was a glancing shot off the left side that banks into the riot shot perfectly, I suspect that shot wouldn't be available if you put a rubber around the whole thing.
Anyone upgrade the backbox speakers on their game? What model of speakers did you get?
I already have the pinnovators sub kit and it sounds great, looking to upgrade the backbox speakers.
Quoted from PtownPin:I would highly suggest the cross bow with the laser....
Any clue on where to purchase the one with the laser? Thanks

You can still glance off the walker and into the riot shot with a flipper rubber around it. At least it works on mine. I do admit it adds a little more uncertainty but it protects that area well.

Hi all, could someone PM me or post a link with a RandomKG’s R-Rated NIN/Radiohead version of Cleland’s mix
Much appreciated. Love this game
