I bicycle kick the drops from the left flipper all the time. I start by trapping up, then easy flicking it so it rolls back up the flipper a bit then kick flip to hit the drops.

Hmm.
Nice control.
"Easy flicking"? "Kick flip"?
Unless you are flipping the ball right out of the air, mid-post-pass, you may not in fact be bicycle kicking to the drops. Impressive though.
Pinball Browser Request Number, Anyone?
Just wondering if any of you know the request number for a Well Walker strike. It's a dull/bassy thud that lasts about a second. Could it be 281?
Thanks.
Quoted from Jason_Jehosaphat:Does the game roll over at a certain point?
Correction to my earlier post: According to Lyman the latest version uses 64 bit scoring and can go to 18,446,744,073,709,551,615 points before rolling. So a 'bit' over 18 Quintillion.
Elwin's nine billion point game on YouTube took just under an hour. With non-linear scoring, let's assume he scores an average of ten times that fast for the rest of the game, 90 billion per hour. It would only take 2.33 YEARS of continuous play to roll it.
Quoted from YeOldPinPlayer:The Walking Dead (Premium/LE) rolls at about 4,294,967,295. It increments the ones digit by four each time it rolls.

I thought you were mistaken - no disprespect! - because I know I have posted higher scores than your rollover mark suggested I possibly could.
You do like your stats, YeOld. Nice work! Perhaps you love "maths," as they say in Great Britain.
Quoted from Multiballmaniac1:Played one game on my TWD LE and got smacked down. Love and hate relationship with it.
Just one? Get up on your feet!
Personal best Horde today. Not my highest Horde score as I never Escaped, but longest effort and most combos. Still can't focus on much aside from juggling balls though. I play my game with headphones and the volume quite low, but there's no mistaking the energy/intensity of the mode. Great sounds and callouts and, of course, the throbbing light show!
Keep movin' and keep shootin'!!!
Go, go, GO!!!!
Quoted from Lostcause:Just got this and it’s kicking my arse, I thought BSD was a bitch but this is on another level![quoted image]
Its a tough game for sure. But thats why I like it! Keeps you coming back.
Quoted from Lostcause:Just got this and it’s kicking my arse ...
Congrats! I love the LE art package!!!
Quoted from Lostcause:Just got this and it’s kicking my arse, I thought BSD was a bitch but this is on another level![quoted image]
Man...that's beautiful. I love my premium, but am sure jealous of that LE art package! Congrats. Brutal game, but when you get on a roll and it's going your way, it's one of the greatest pinball experiences ever. No other game has ever gotten my blood pumping the way HORDE does!
Quoted from MrSmiley:Exactly thanks, thats the one I was looking for but seems to be sold out everywhere. There are some custom shooters out there but I would prefer the Stern one since its the nicest looking. Let's see if I can find one, otherwise I'll settle for a third party one.
I’ve just ordered one from mikeincali he has a few to choose from. Been using his for years on various machines with no problem.

I wasn’t going to mod this like my Premium was but I really like some/ most of the mods on it.
ColourDMD and PDI glass was supposed to be it. But the lure from Mezelmods was too strong. $1800 later and they are still arriving. Got my work cut out for me today.
Custom pop Bumper caps and burning barn mod still in transit from the very talented Robert HOOKED

Question:
During well walker multiball can you complete it but pulling him out of the well? How many hits?
I never seem to conquer that.
Go to http://tiltforums.com/t/walking-dead-wiki-rulesheet/122 very informative. Hope this helps.
Well Walker
v1.41 - Starting Well Walker Multiball involves hitting the well walker toy quite a few times. Initially each shot to well walker will award 25k and one letter in WELL as shown on the DMD. The well inserts will then quickly strobe between W and L indicating that all letters in WELL have been completed. The next shot will change the behavior of the strobing letters from fast strobing inserts to slower strobing inserts and a new DMD animation will be shown indicating how many shots are needed before multiball begins. Each shot progresses towards multiball start but, also builds a value based on how many inserts are lit when the well walker is hit. If the well walker is hit when one of four inserts are lit 55k is added. If the well walker is hit when all four inserts are lit 75k is added. Once the well walker has been hit five times the total value of these initial hits is shown and multiball begins.
During phase one of Well Walker multiball, each letter is relit by hitting a certain number of switches. W: 25, E: 30, L: 35, L: 40 (although the previous jackpot also counts so it’s really 29, 34, 39). The well walker jackpot continues to build for every switch hit. Hitting the walker scores and adds to the bonus the total value collected in the starting phase based on the values of the WELL when hit, e.g. 50k no letters lit, 55k one letter lit up to 75k if all letters were lit. Normally somewhere around 300-350k. Once a letter is completed with the switch hits, the well walker jackpot is lit and hitting the walker collects the current jackpot value and then resets it to zero. Completing all WELL lights and jackpots then lights the Super Jackpot that re-collects all of the jackpots by hitting the walker again. Good time to use a big multiplier. Note: the premium/LE use of the spinner is valuable in this phase compared to the pro. Multi-kill is started once the jackpot is collected for the first L (thus the third jackpot, W-E-L).
Once the super jackpot is collected, phase two begins and continues until multiball ends. During phase two the left and right ramp are lit for 500k and either ramp will award 500k and add 50k to the next left or right ramp shot. The value of each ramp shot is also added to a jackpot that is collected by shooting the Well Walker. Once a jackpot is collected, the jackpot resets to zero until more ramps are hit. The jackpot and ramps can continue to be hit and will raise by 50K each hit until multi-ball ends. Raising jackpots and then collecting via walker with a multiplier can lead to huge jackpots.

Ooh! An LE for you!
Sweet!
I s'pose you could buy a set of Yoyokopters outlane extenders to make the outlanes a little less ravenous.
The layout is diabolical. It has more ways to drain SDTM than you might readily notice. I hope you have a big collection. I have a one-pin collection and it's TWD. I could use something kinder to be go beside it, believe me!
Congrats on your pickup!

Holy crap. Thanks. Now that’s code.
So here’s some I did today.
Ulek red plastic protectors. I have fitted these before so anyone with crossbow make sure you file the plastic as shown or it fouls on the crossbow when it tries to come out. I learnt the hard way first time.

One of the all time greats. Although BKLE topper is bloody fantastic. I really liked my GOTLE and ARMRLE also.
Some more. ColourDMD and www.speakerlightkit.com plus acrylics. Both really great mods that transform a game.

Maybe you had a different version.
If so then you should be OK.
Heres a mod you should do. Light the drops and woodbury drop.
Drops lit (resized).JPGwoodbury lit (resized).JPGQuoted from jokerpoker:I had one before with no issues. I will keep an eye on it though. Wiring is tucked nicely down the side.
Also had issues with the LED wiring, not the wiring harness itself. Some solder joints came loose probably due to vibrations from the ball, lift ramp and shaker so some LEDs stopped working. Reflowed them and covered it with electrical tape, so far its working great.
Nice looking LE except the brown armor and the translite, prefer the Premium art package. Really jealous about the topper

Great job. Looking sharp!
Love the firey glow of the drops.
Also noticed you applied alternate decals to your drops rather than "Will, "You," and "Survive?" Fly!
Looking for advice. I have been suspect on my well walker switch for a little while now. Have adjusted etc because I thought it may have been activating on it's own. Now I have had an issue where drop target bank not resetting on occasions. Tonight it happened again after a few months of no issue. It didn't reset even after losing a ball, so I turned the game off. Powered on and they reset. Knocked them down and they didn't reset. So I was going to check my switch settings but flipped the ball which hit the well walker. The targets reset.
So could the well walker switch have been left open and caused the targets to not set or was it just coincidence?

How do you get it so that bicycle girl light doesn't keep moving around? I get it all set, tighten it down pretty good and next thing I know the light is flashing to the left of the playfield
Very annoying.

Had the same issue and noticed my lift ramp was slightly hitting the light when it came up which caused the light to move. Bent it a little higher and added a little hot glue to the light socket since the LED popped out sometimes due to vibrations.
Noticed 2 of my gi leds just below the 3 drop targets are not right on my LE.
There are 3 leds there red, white and red. The red closest to the drop target is fine, the white not on and the lower red much dimmer than it should be.
I checked the wiring diagram and it looks to have been wired wrong in the factory as all original soldering. The centre white led is showing short circuit coming from the board but looks like both wires go to 5v.
So looks like I need to swop the black/white and the red around, just want to check this is what I need to do.
Thanks.

I'd take a look at the switch matrix. How are those two switches related on the matrix? Check other switches in the same row and columns.

All three drops are on the same row as the well walker and Xbow that is unreliable the home sw shares the Column with well walker

Fixed, looks like they were factory fitted wrong and never spotted.
Vimtoman kindly sent me a pic of his to confirm it was wired wrong.

The most common switch issues are the Wellwalker,Prison head and crossbow switches.
The prison just needs the leaf switch pulled back slightly so that it's not triggered by the pops.
The wellwalker just needs the micro switch metal blade bent slightly .
You can also add a stronger spring on the wellwalker or just make the original one stronger so that it does not trigger so easily.
The crossbow you need to take the apron off and check the switch on the motors cam.
Dont force the motor manually as you can bugger that up easily.
Always use the menu switch test to test the switches.
You can test the drop target switches on this menu switch test,
Crossbow tests on the another menu page. Not sure where though
