Extra magnet on the Prem makes the game more random and the drop target in front of Woodbury is also cool, the more drops the better in my book. I still went pro though.

Quoted from chuckwurt:Left ramp doesn’t suck. Just possible it needs tweaking. Same with the crossbow.
The premium is the better game by leaps and bounds. Definitely not worth the money though. The premium never is. Just need to decide if you want to shell out the near 2k extra for the prem. How bad do you want the better game? Haha
This!
My lift ramp is really smooth. And I love the gnassel bicycle girl light mod when that mode starts.
Quoted from Doctor6:Still debating as to which version is the better purchase. Pro or premium. I've not played either and this game looks just super duper awesome. I've had people swear up one side and down the other that the premium is better, while others say the pro is better.
Clearly the premium has better lights and Walker bombs. But beyond that I dont know that I care about the other features? I hear the left ramp sucks?
I've got a TWDLE. The left ramp can be tweaked to make pretty smooth if you get different spacers and add the extended ramp flap. I still prefer the Pro ramp but the overall the TWDLE model just has a lot more features. I would really miss the Walker bombs (adds extra strategy) and the spinners.-Ripping the spinner for switch hits in Well walker mb just feels great. The color changing inserts and red GI are also a nice thing to have. The crossbow is actually a pretty cool toy that I'd miss. The well walker magnet adds a little to the game as well but I wouldn't really miss it if it was gone. The Bicycle girl toy changes the layout and gives you a backhand shot. The fishtank at the back of the playfield on the LE is a nice cosmetic mod but a similar one can be added to the Pro.
I do enjoy the Pro and would be happy owning one if I couldn't afford or didn't want to spend the extra money to get a Premium or LE. I think they are all fun!
I've seen someone put a pro ramp into a premium and turn off the parts that the premium ramp used. The game accounts for these in the settings, as you can turn them off.

That would be me! One of a kind still afaik. When's the last time anyone made 10 ramps in a row on a LE/prem.?

Nice mod! Did you have to modify your Bicycle girl to make it fit?-I always thought the Pro ramp was less steep? I'm guessing that you can still use the lighted mod to work and run it off the first ramp switch?
Where's the best and cheapest place to order a "Pro" ramp?
thanks for sharing!

Thanks! I used my Pro BG mount, and moved ramp protectors over too, don't know part# of those.
I ordered the ramp through my Dist. (Game Ex) around $175!
Also note, no recess on PF at ramp entrance, and I had to put 2 screws there to mount, pretty scary, but I will never go back, so who cars?

Ok we have a winner. Best of both worlds.
Quoted from Damien:Quick question... Are both prison doors supposed to open up all the way. Right door does not open the same as left.[quoted image]
Looks like something is binding there, it should be open as far as the left from my perspective.
This is the mech that opens the doors. Make sure the hinges move freely under the playfield when you activate the solenoid.
Also make sure the 3 screws are holding your door in the right spot. I’ve seen these fall out on games and then the door is just being held on by the spring steel.
Check the size in the manual. its online at sternpinball.com
Quoted from Maken:Anyone happen to know the size of the large nut that is used on the magnet core?

Yes it is, maybe actual material value but who gives a shit about that? Get the Premium, better backglass for sure, another magnet, bash toy, apron button, lighting its worth it.
I thought tonight was the night! 61 walker kills on my first ball! Then pinball happened... 77 kills to finish

That first ball would give anyone false hope. Once again have you walking away dead.

Hahaha yup. I had one shot left on prison to start that MB, but it hit the door and dropped sdtm.
Game is fun though. Brutal, but fun.
Anybody ever got the 4 ball well walker multiball? I just got it for the first time last night and have never got it before. I have tried to find anything online that talks about it and have not been able to find anything. So I am turning to you guys to see if anyone else has had a 4 ball WW multiball. I am thinking it has to do with the flashing lights in front of the well walker once you spell WELL. I was not paying super close attention until it shot out 4 balls for the mode I have only ever seen 2 balls on.
Thanks!!!

You probably started blood bath (drop targets). That would’ve added the 4th ball.

If prison MB is lit, the doors should be open.
Quoted from Maken:If prison MB is lit, the doors should be open.
By door, I meant the head. All letters solid, one hit to go. But my right door is not opening fully, so that makes sdtm drains more frequent.

If you dial in the head switch you shouldn’t get screwed anymore on it not registering. Gap the switch super close, and also put some sticky felt on the arm at the bottom of the head so that it reduces the travel the head has to go to hit the target under the playfield.
Works wonders.
My well Walker flasher is burning up all .y flashers have it unplugged right now for some reason it is getting 18 to 22 volts at the connector the little purple and yellow one cant figure out why
I meant my well Walker flasher burnt up o unplugged it and check the volts to way to high and its staying on not going off
Quoted from Scott8806:My well Walker flasher is burning up all .y flashers have it unplugged right now for some reason it is getting 18 to 22 volts at the connector the little purple and yellow one cant figure out why
The voltage is correct. The flashers are 20VDC. Have you gone into switch test to see if there is a switch stuck on?
Also, VIO/YEL wire is a flasher associated with the right spinner and VIO/ORG is associated with the well walker. Those 2 connections may be swapped if you had yellow purple at the well walker. There are quick disconnects for both under the playfield that could easily be swapped.
The well Walker switch is all I see that's working registering hits is that the same switch that tells it to flash
Quoted from Scott8806:Whatever tells the flasher to come on has to be stuck on
So the switch is closed or the transistor is shorted. Easy enough to rule out the switch. If that is not the case then you need to replace the transistor. If you have basic soldering skills it really isn't that hard.
The switch that registered the hits on the well Walker is that the one that runs that one is working fine

May take a bit of reading.
Is the light locked on when you put a new bulb in?
Quoted from Scott8806:Just tested it its definitely bad how hard is it to change
Depends on your solder skills. Easy if you are comfortable desoldering and soldering hard if that is not the case. Once the board is pulled it just takes a few minutes to do the job.
