Those are sweet. I might be interested in a set. I'm in this "Mod TWD" mode right now.
Quoted from roar:I like them, what did they cost?
He charges $44 shipped. They look great!
Quoted from Sparky:I have a red tremor in my MET, and it shook like crazy until I installed a motor speed controller.
My MET & TWD premium both have red tremors. Way too strong. Where did you find a motor speed controller from?
Quoted from crwjumper:How about this from Pingravings.com? These are wood!
PinGravings approached me at NWPAS with a comp set if I would install them along with their business card. They really do fit the look and feel of the pin. I have a hard time with a lot of the rule cards out there not being legible and just not looking quite right. Not so with these. Here is a short video showing them on my machine at the show:

I'd like to see the Metallica set installed on a machine. $44USD is quite a bump in price compared to "normal" instruction cards but he has some really unique ones, the AFM pics on Facebook look good, the dirty harry looks neat with the bullet holes.

Search how to tame Cointakers Red tremor motor. You'll see where to get it(one place is Amazon) and installation pics. Very easy to install and adjust.

What color LEDs come factory in the rear panel of the playfield? Mine has all Comet Flame LEDs that are cool but I'd like to see what Stern did stock.

I will get 2, thanks a lot.
So, stripped the machine, cleaned and reassembled. Also changed out some led’s. Went for GI warm white and some red. Installed mirror blades and upgraded speakers. Also went for white rubbers.
Turned out quite nicely . On the list is still speakerlighting.

Anyone got suggestions? Simple copy of the PREM/LE to begin with I think.

Ok what is and where did you get that crazy lady for your left ramp????
Awesome!

Something a friend of my picked up at a garagesale. It’s not really a walking dead figure I think, just a zombie.
After a cliffy carbon ring I put on the magnet for the prison it seems like it's not registering hits to the doors as much? Thoughts? Anyone else experience this? Just cleaned it too and it's fast as hell so I'm not sure if that is altering it too.

Ball hop most likely. Been reported by others with cliffys and/or raised magnets. Ball is getting just enough air to fly over the optos.

Shouldn’t be but why would you put a carbon protector? Is this a small protector only around the core or ...? Design is nowadays very robust. My Twd has like 8000 plays and zero wear around the magnet.

It is the cliffy Carbon protector. That was an issue with mine immediately after the protector was put on. I removed it after trying everything else. Problem went away immediately I used dental floss under the cliffy to remove it by sawing back and forth and then goo be gone to remove the residue.
It is unbelievable that that thin cliffy can cause that issue but it does ( on some machines).

Incandensent bulbs. I find the ultra bright to bright. Need something between bulbs and those in. Guess I need to order some with next order at the led shop
The warm white does make the colors more alive. Tried cold white to but didn’t like it. The warm white just makes the colors look more natural.
Quoted from Rensh:Isn’t she a beauty
That looks like an Evil Dead figure more than a zombie. Zombies have dead eyes, not evil eyes.
Quoted from Rensh:DIY speaker lighting
Nice job! I was debating on adding speaker lights, but after adding a color DMD yesterday, think I’m done with my mods, for now, maybe, lol. How did you make the speaker lights and where do you get the power for them? I do like your color choices. Mine has green in the upper playfield area installed by former owner compared to your blue area.

Nice job, and clever at that!
Thank you all for the replies, indeed it was the carbon ring making the ball jump the opto beam. I had ordered quite a few things from cliffy and threw that on as I figured why not? For home I would not have done it but this TWD is on route and played heavy. Anyways ring is removed and all is good.
DNO congrats on siege. That is no easy task!

Looks sweet.
Where'd you get the fish tank?
Quoted from Damien:How do you do it?
You have to finish Prison MB, tons of shooting around then shoot the prison.
I often felt stuck, so I would use a prison bomb to advance.
Basically, 2 supers in Prison MB.
Actually managed it twice yesterday, but your whole game need to be focused on that, stacking Prison and Blood bath twice pretty much.

The previous owner installed it, and I'm glad. I believe this one was from laseriffic, but don't see it listed on their website anymore and cointaker has it listed as not in stock.
Recently joined the club with the pro edition. Terrific game, ramps that flow like glass and thoroughly enjoying learning all the rules. I did spend some time setting it up as had plenty of sdtm drains from pops and slings making outlane drains. Now that the pitch is correct and perfectly level its lost most of the cheap drains and more power to the slings makes it easier to handle the outlane drains.
The wife and I have just finished watching the first season so I now know what the CDC shot is all about. Look forward to watching more seasons and trying for last man standing, siege etc etc

What angle did you settle on? I'm at 6.5 and get some drains but not excessive.
Quoted from DavidPinballWizz:For the well walker: double check the z-connector that connects the wires of the well walker switch to the main wiring loom.
My problem was in my first walking dead related that connector, and on my second machine the exact same thing.
I ended up with swapping that small connector with another one (from somewhere else in the game) and all was solved.
But of course, a too sensitive switch is certainly an option too.
How the heck that connector causes false well walker hits is beyond me, but sure enough I swapped it out and everything appears ok. I would never have thought to do that, so thank you so much for figuring this out!!!
Quoted from MightyGrave:@ rensch: how to you connected the speakers with the LM57 sound controller?
I have upgraded speakers in cabinet and head. This LC57 is in series with the head speakers and give me now the possibility to get a better balance between head and cabinet speakers. With TWD I prefer more bass
Quoted from Gogojohnnyquack:What angle did you settle on? I'm at 6.5 and get some drains but not excessive.
Yup 6.5 now. I would say 90% of the time it will now return to the left flipper. Gives the option now of either catching it or letting it bounce over to the right flipper for a few quick drop target shots
Quoted from TigerBall:How the heck that connector causes false well walker hits is beyond me, but sure enough I swapped it out and everything appears ok. I would never have thought to do that, so thank you so much for figuring this out!!!
The well walker switch is always closed in resting position. So whenever you have a interruption in the connection somewhere (caused by the Z connector) it falsely triggers. You're welcome, happy to help!

You will have a lot of fun just mastering those two things on this game. Bounce on to the right flipper gives you big scoring opportunities on Riot, Bicylcle girl, CDC and Barn modes. The three drop targets are also off the right flipper (and left if you bounce the ball off well walker) and you need to get them to start modes. Catch on the left flipper for extra ball, Horde, Arena and Tunnel. Awesome game.
Have fun!
Hey guys I tried out a few of the remix editions from KPG & Cleland for twd. All great stuff but thought I would try my own. I've used only songs from the tv series soundtrack from AMC so they fit the theme well and as intended. Still need to add alternate jackpot, combo callouts and more music for horde, last man standing, terminus and crossbow frenzy. Hope you all enjoy and once complete I will upload and share the download link.
I saw the video on YouTube 5 minutes ago, leave a comment ... hahaha. It will be very good update I hope to enjoy it soon ... hahaha regards
