I always thought the Big Fat Well walker looked kind of gross and would prefer a zombie instead. I modified a nice toy, made a new wooden base, repainted him, added details and clearcoated him. I had to trim his right arm off some , and grind down the left arm , to give proper ball clearance. This is something different to inflict damage on instead of the fat guy. He is a direct replacement for the Well Walker and mounts the same way. The detail of this guy is awesome. I have 2 different versions I used that look really gorey and cool. There are more pictures on my website. www.modfatherpinball.com

I like it. Mod the animations of the well walker in the code and it could sell well. Not sure if this looks like a walking dead zombie or not though.

Nice option! I think he outgrosses the Well Walker though.

Very nice work. Great community support.

Minor suggestion... I don't think a zombie would have such a clean shirt or be so clean himself. It looks a little off. Otherwise, great great detail.

I picked up the zombie bash toy from Modfather and have to say that this thing is really nice, excellent attention to detail and much better than the bland stock figure. Modfather's pics weren't great so here's a set from my game, including the old figure for comparison.

I like it better... If I had a WD I WOULD PIC THIS UP

#9 7 years ago

Great looking alternative! If I had a TWD, I would totally swap out the well walker for this mod.

There is also another version I did for the bash toy. It is a little thinner profile to see the prison better and darker colors. It also has really cool details and looks great in the game. I can post pics later. There are pics on my website as well.

Awesome much better than the original

I've been using that Walking Dead bank walker for years on every Tales from the Crypt I work on. Works great behind the right ramp since that ramp has a Living Dead mode and fills in the blank space nicely.

Don't think I like it as a Well Walker replacement though because there's nothing wrong with the well walker that some blood and gore can't fix. Plus there's a well walker mode, well walker multiball, etc.

I offer custom painting on the Well Walker. If you want more blood and gore, I can do that too. It is nice to have choices on your game and change up the look every once in a while. I have my WW custom painted, but I put in the new zombie bash toy , and it's a breath of fresh air to hit something different to shoot for. I like all of the gorey details in this zombie and prefer his look vs. Well Walker. It is also thinner , so you can see the prison shot better. The smaller zombie opens up the playfield and doesn't look as heavy as the big guy. I keep my WW in the coinbox and swap out a different bash toy every couple of months to keep it fresh.

Bro what you need to work on is finding a better alternative to the giant zombie bash head in the prison/barn.

Some sort of zombie hoard bash item

Nice! I've never liked the default model; however, I think you should just change it to this:

Thats the other version. Thx for posting pics. I also have some leds coming in , and plan to offer lighted eyes in them as yet another option. So many choices, what to do ?

Quoted from Hazoff:

I had to move my well walker as he was hitting the glass when bashed. I moved him to the back as in your pic. Its a perfect fit and i love the way it looks. I didnt light his eyes up...yet

... love the new "slimmed down" well walker, but personally I think the fat, greasy original walker is still my favorite ... of course just modified slightly!! I did this one for my buddy's LE & it literally makes his game. I also painted his tower & railway tracks (complete with zombie blood!!)
