I'm thinking in terms of features that make for really bad competition games. Surfin' Safari, catch up score, can that be turned off? How about that in Date East Simpsons?
I was also told yesterday about a random 'double your score' feature in Rocky and Bullwinkle. Can that be turned off?
Any other games you can think of that have unfair and/or random features that make for bad tournament games that either should be shut off, or can't be?
I also feel this is different from things like lock stealing, like on Sorcerer and Bally Elvira. Those can be interesting when dealing with strategy, but a tournament director can also choose to have those games played as single player games.
