I'm trying to dial in the right amount of time to have items in the tumbler. I ran for about 10 hours (walnut + regular flitz) and the polished items like the pop ring came out shiny, but other items, like brackets and whatnot weren't as shiny as I had expected. I'm assuming either

    A. I didn't run it long enough
    B. My expectations on how polished brackets can get is too high
    C. all of the above.

What do you think the minimum amount of time in the tumbler is before you started to reach maximum benefit?

Also, I know this thread is about Walnut, but has anyone tried any of the media that you use wet with success?
