    Hi All,

I have a new Frankford Arsenal tumbler and the Zilla reptile bedding walnut media. I ran the metal parts in it for a day, adding some Novus 2, and they look great. But a few of the long screws have media in the top or threads and the larger parts have a bit of dust on them when I pulled them out. Obviously I don't want abrasive powder on my playfield, so do I wash the parts? If so, with what? Alcohol or spray with brake cleaner? Or just wipe them down with micro fiber?

If I had used more Novus would that eliminate the problem?

    Thanks,
    Carl

Thanks for the guidance everyone. I'll be switching to the Mothers liquid metal polish for future tumbling.

I know nobody's measuring exactly, but about how much polish/cream is everyone using? I have the smaller 5 pound tumbler.
