    Looking to do play field parts, metal posts, stainless trim, etc. Are walnut shells the way to go for this? Also, why do some add liquid wax to the media?

    I have that one and it works just fine. I admit I don't have any other tumbler experience, but for small parts and at that price it's hard to go wrong.
