Following on from the side decals project for my Simpsons Pinball Party , some kind pinsiders gave me the idea to do some backboard decals to go at the back of the machine - actually great ideas thanks guys. Some folks have already modded the back of machine with a playset scene of Moe's Tavern and a clock showing the characters having a beer. I was thinking about doing this aswell but decided a decal would be much easier to fit and allow for lots of little details that we are all familiar with in the Simpsons.

Another pinsider also suggested that the left side should match the living room walls and cover up the strange hole that can be seen there - still not any wiser what this hole is for? They also suggested Homer running up the ramp as if being chased by a pinball. There isn't much room to play with due to all the parts but he's just fitted in.

Installation was fairly easy as the backboard can be removed. Getting all the holes lined up in the artwork was a pain but the printer cut everything out so sticking them on was a breeze.

If you're wondering what the writing says on the little sign on the mirror it says "For all you punks under 21, this here is root beer. For everyone else its beer." I just love that line. Of course no decal would be complete without a jar of pickled eggs to finish.

Well there isn't any artwork on the left so that's no problem. I haven't tried removing the right and I did leave the clouds sticker on underneath. I think it shouldn't but I believe you can buy replacement original stern decals still, so it might be worth getting a set if you are really worried about it.
