TSPP reboot issue.

MY TSPP has recently started rebooting. When turned on it tests, hits attract mode, and then boots and does the same. If im quick i can get a game started. Recent work includes changing the right top flipper coil on the lower playfield, and the Q14 transistor. When I get a game started that flipper and everything still works but after maybe 20 seconds the game reboots still. I have turned off everything else on that breaker as well just to make sure I am not overloading. Any thing to look for? Thanks.

check your 5v. if it low (under 5v) then the watchdog will kick in and you will have a reboot. there is a power connector that connects to the top of the power driver board (5 or 6 wires i believe). this connection has been a problem for me in the past.

Mine had reset issues. Repinned the power connector that KinPingGames mentioned, both where it connects to the I/O driver board and to the CPU. No more resets.

Mine has done this also. I removed and reset all connections and that took care of the problem.

After looking into it, apparently two wires had come loose from a connector on the cpu board. I looked at my LOTR and matched the wires to where they go and it seems to be fixed. Thanks.
