Quoted from hassellcastle:Pretzel can be started by lighting ALL of the Otto shots on the playfield. Hit the "Lite Otto" stand up target by the pop bumpers, Otto will then light. The Otto shot is the orbit behind Homers head. Making the orbit behind Homers head, you'll hear "Hey Otto Man" and you'll then light one of the red square 2x multiplier inserts on the playfield (ie: 2x garage). Rinse, wash...repeat.
After lighting the last Otto shot, the yellow arrow in front of the loop behind Homers head will blink, letting you know Springfield Mystery Spot is ready.

Pretzel Multiball is not Springfield Mystery Spot (which is what you are describing). The only relationship between the two is you look like a pretzel while playing SMS.
