Hi, I have a multipart question for you TSPP owners out there:
Have any of you bought/made a LED Back Box light to replace the florescent tube?
And if you did; What are your opinions & what did you use?
Thanks in advance...

Quoted from Rarehero:Ugh, why did you Smurf-bomb it? Take all those blue lights out. Looks terrible. You already got too carried away!!!
Ha, those came with the machine. What should they look like?
Quoted from Rarehero:White lights. People who match light color to playfield color don’t understand the concept of
how color and light works.[quoted image]
That is better
Just got my parts back from the powder coater, feel like a kid again on Christmas. I wasn't sure about the color as I picked it from Prismatic's online catalog ("FUNCO YELLOW" for anyone interested) but I think it turned out well. There is a metallic flake to it, but it's a little hard to see.

Of course not, $310 out the door. That included the special order color, stripping the previous powder coatings & sand blasting the rest. They threw in the black bolts & coin door frame since they had a batch going in with the same color.
Side note; I just realized I'm missing the lockdown bar and they are on the hunt for it.
I already had mostly LEDs in my machine so I didn't need the kit and at the time it was $135 shipped
Quoted from xtravgiza:TSPP SCHOOL BUS MOD - If you have it do you like it? Where did you place it (Pics if you have). Thinking about adding one or two mods, currently, 100% stock from a toy standpoint, don't want to yardsale the playfield but thought the BUS may look good and not get in the way.[quoted image]
IMHO, Sparky's TV Mod is the one must have

My second Pinball TSPP.
First Pin Tommy.
Just picked up TSPP a couple of days ago.
Playfield is in good condition, but the plastics are a bit beat up.
Got a bit of work ahead of me cleaning it up. Can’t wait to get modding as well.
Everything seems to be working and dialled in well though. Came with LEDs installed but no OCD board. And some of them need to be changed to different colour or brightness.
Anything I will need to keep an eye on and any info good parts to have as spares. Have a couple of mods ordered and didn’t forget the Kwick-E-Mart decal. Don’t know when it was made, as sticker has faded.
Much appreciated.
Welcome to the club!
From looking at your photos it looks like some of your hardware (nuts & washers) could be replaced. You are also missing a spotlight above the Duff girl in your 3rd picture.
Check your rubbers as well, a new set from Titan really helps the game play (IMHO).
As for mods, my favorite without a doubt is Sparky TV mod (I would argue a must have!).
Good luck!
