Just about to join the club! Does anyone have a tree house mod to sell though? I feel this one is a must have

#2593 6 years ago
Quoted from Sparky:

The treehouses are available through Mezelmods, but they won't be available again until I return to the US after July 18th.

Okay awesome, I'll order one as soon as you're back then!

I'm officially in the club! My machine arrived today but this plastic pictured is broken. Does anyone have one spare or point me in the right direction?

For those who have side decals inside the machine, how easy is it to install them? Do you need the lift the playfield completely out?

#2714 6 years ago
Quoted from Archon9000:

Curious, where did you get the decals for the plastic targets (Otto, Nelson, Jimbo, Doplh, Comic book guy, ADV Pops)?
Thanks in advance!

They are available here mate

Can anyone tell me how the wire at the base of Homer's head is supposed to sit? Or better yet a pic?

#2754 6 years ago

Both of those pics are pretty good - so to me the wire that wraps around the back seems kind of pointless - does it actually do anything?

#2756 6 years ago
Quoted from Rensh:

Which black wire? I only see one running to the flasher in Homers head

Back wire not black lol

#2802 6 years ago

I'm having 2 small issues with mine. The gap between the nuclear smoke stack and the Mr Burns plastic right above the left flipper lane isn't wide enough for a ball to fit through. I have cliffy post sleeves on the 2 posts.
Second, the coil under the TV is in the down position and therefore the ball is only released from under the TV during a ball search

#2848 6 years ago

I have the same topper on my TSPP so why not?

1 week later
#2878 6 years ago

My machine just did a factory restore after I soldered the wires together for the TV switch and now my top 2 right flippers (upper playfield & next to Itchy & Scratchy) do not work! Any ideas why?

3 weeks later
#2971 6 years ago

I've finally finished the work on my machine. Added the side board decals and plastics from Russia (decals are fantastic but plastics blue is a little lighter than original) also added color DMD, speaker box decal, comic book guy decal and Duff beer mod. Lots of new plastics and new translite from Marco. Ice blue leds in some of the Gi too, though it looks darker in pics. hope you guys think it's looks okay
I even put up a half decent score lol

Did you notice your pinblade says "The Android's Dangeon"?
RussM

No I haven't noticed! I bought the blades from the Russian guy that has all the repop plastics! I'll check when I get home now that's a bit poo

1 month later
#3131 6 years ago
Quoted from RussMyers:

The word "Dungeon" is misspelled "Dangeon"
Should be "Android's Dungeon"
RussM

Yes unfortunately, these are the blades I have. Mis-spelling aside, the quality is really good on these

Out of curiosity, how far is the garage door supposed to open?
Mine opens enough for the ball to get through no problems but I cannot see into the garage, my guess is the angle is about 30 degrees

2 weeks later
#3261 6 years ago

I bought the plastics I needed and the price was quite reasonable. My only knock is that the blue on most of the plastics is noticeably lighter than the original blue

I wouldn't exactly call mine custom. But I went with all pink Titan flipper, shooter tip, and translucent rings for the slings.

Where do you get the pink rubbers from? Are they the same style as super bands?

I’m having an issue where the game isn’t registering the CBG skill shot, garage or moe’s ramp (maybe others?)

Quoted from luckymoey:

Wouldn't mind seeing one in purple but there's a reason that nuclear yellow and green are the popular choices. Did mine in metallic yellow. The sparkle doesn't show up well in the photo.

Quoted from Scandell:

I decided to sacrifice this $17 vinyl bank to test the possibility of swapping homer’s ugly head with this more appealing one that includes his torso and a donut.
Not a great fit. So close!!![quoted image][quoted image]

That would go really well with the Alternate donut cabinet art. Pity it didn’t fit

Hi all
Anyone done a powdercoated pink side rails/legs/lockdown etc? Darker pink.
Before you crucify my this is my daughters machine and I’m about to put the alternate artwork on the cabinet which is heavy in pink donuts. Got the pink donut shooter and access to pink T-Molding for the backbox

#5624 3 years ago
Quoted from Gotfrogs:

I was looking for one a few months ago when I got my game and they were all sold out. If I recall somebody told me they would make more in the future. Let us know if you find one. I still want one!

I put a wanted ad up on pinside a couple months ago and was contacted by someone that sold me theirs, only way to get one

5 months later
#5910 2 years ago

I don’t necessarily think having original artwork in great condition raises the value of the machine at all from my experience. I’d say get a new decal set if it bothers you and then if you don’t want the lollipops on the side you don’t have to either

2 months later
#6106 2 years ago

My playfield clear coat is done with a couple wrinkles thrown in
1. Had the Simpsons cars painted Hot Pink
2. Had all the ball trail fire painted red so the dots stand out more
I’m happy with it, going to be using the Donut decals and adding a bunch of pink donuts to the machine, stay tuned……

I took 100 photos during my tear down for my restoration but of course it’s never enough
I’m having trouble with what sits under the captive ball trail both top and under playfield plus my pop bumper seems like it needs something under the plastic as the led is too high
Any tear down photos would help

Prices for this game are obscene right now. What’s a realistic price for a TSPP with color DMD and some cabinet wear / typical fading?
Also…does anyone make a donut sticker or something to cover the start button fading? Or has anyone re wrapped the cabinet in the alternate design from retro refurbs? I’d love to see pics if so.

I did the retro refurbs set, here are some pics
