Purchased a tspp a few weeks ago, it is in great shape, not too many mods. I really like the led pop so that is probably the first on the list. Last game i bought a kit, but was not thrilled, ended up mostly replacing most to my taste and fixing ghost issues. I am planning on comet leds. Anyone have a bulb list or suggested bulbs to start from? That would be a huge timesaver if so!

I read the other posts and looks like i will need the ocd also! So it begins...

Timber and Sparechange...may I ask what you paid for your machines given the low plays?

4500. Excellent condition.

Apologies if this has been posted before but if it has and you can direct me .... great!
Looking to LED the inserts and want to know
A. where people order their LEDs from (thinking of Comet)
B. does anyone have a list of colors and numbers of LEDs ordered?

Comet or Cointaker
There are kits available but a lot of it is personal preferance. I bought a bunch of individual bulbs, color, brightness, etc. and just test out what looks good, then order as needed.

I am getting ready to LED my TSPP. Comet led has natural white, sunlight and warm white. I think warm white would be too yellow but natural might be too white for the comic theme playfield. Sunlight is supposed to be in the middle. Anyone have suggestions? I just got a IMVE and the led are amazing looking. Natural white but it has that scifi theme.

I would also like to know if its possible to put a shaker in a TSPP.

Has anyone added a shaker?

Also, if anybody can give any pointers to playfield teardown or any links to related threads, that would be most appreciated. I searched and came up empty. This machine needs a deep cleaning.

Photos, photos, and more photos. Use ziplock bags and do one area at a time. Label the area. That way any question items are isolated to an area.

Quoted from Matt_johnson:

I picked up the version 2 top for my version 1 treehouse. I just installed it today and it looks way better.

What I did was: removed version 1, removed the foliage and remaining hot glue, checked the fit of the top which was perfect. I then followed the instructions and mounted just the tree top which made it much easier to manipulate.

I have the super hero Comic Book Guy so the fit might be different for the original Comic Book guy. You might have to remove the branch. My Comic Book Guy rotates at the hip so I was able to twist him around a little.
I attached the treetop and then tested it with the house set in place. I had to twist the armature a little, but it was no big deal.
I also added some thick weather stripping to the top of the lights so the treehouse could sit a little higher.

Finally you just glue the house into the treetop. Careful not to get glue on your PF

If you want to upgrade your version 1 to 2 shoot Sparky a message and he can send you just the top.

How about putting a real bonzia tree in there? That would be one of a kind.
