TECH QUESTION:
After booting my TSPP it is sort of rebooting every 5 seconds. Sometimes I can play a game for about half a minute and then it reboots again.
Not everything goes out (TV mod still continues to play), the upper playfield TV is rebooting as well.
Anyone has an idea about what is going on, what I should do?
When the reboot occurs I noticed the Red led on the Bottom board in the backbox to light of and on.
Appreciate your help
Peter
Quoted from SantaEatsCheese:Anything special to worry about when buying a TSPP?
Looking to join the club this weekend. I am going on a 6 hour round trip to possibly purchase a supposedly HUO TSPP for $5,000 this weekend. This won't be my first pin but will be by first Simpsons game. Is there anything in particular I should be looking out for on this game? I'm thinking main points of concern are wear around the flipper buttons, shooter lane wear, Itchy & Scratchy popout, and garage door. Is there anything else I should be weary of on this machine? I have requested a few additional pictures before driving up there.
Assuming it looks brand new, I'll probably put some LEDs and side art.
Thanks
Hi! I would check the ramp behind the garage door. This one can be broken easily. I’m not sure if there are replacements available. I did mine with Cliffys a long time ago and it was partly broken already.
Enjoy!!
Quoted from Baptiste:Hello everyone !!
I present you here my Pinsound Mix for the Simpsons Pinball Party TSPP Stern that I will post at the end of December 2020. More than a year of work, with more than 10 seasons studied and viewed, for a pinball machine that deserved it! I still have a few settings to make before uploading.
The video link is in order to make you discover the rendering, without revealing everything.
- there are many alternate voices in the missions already shown here.
- I don't show: disaster, monorail, Krusty's nightmare, APU gift, Captain Grant
- No triggering of children Cletus, Krusty, neither "good bonus" nor "bad bonus" (around twenty of alternate voices for each)
- Lots of surprises, humor ...
- Alternatives yet to be discovered: 10 Itchy and Scratcy starts, 3 couch multiball starting variants, 26 Moe ramps voices, 28 end game musics, etc, etc ...
Over a year of research and source file work. But it's a license that was worth it !!
I wish you a good viewing.
Released at the end of December 2020, and with the shaker functionality.
Just for information, it will also be in French voice (video link too).
For anecdote, and those who have a Batman Data East, it's me who made the OST mix
Good flip everyone !!
In Original OST voices :

Use the Homer Wobble head 1999 version
Like this one. ebay.com link: The Simpsons Homer Simpson Eating Donut Bobble Head Nodder Statue Vintage 1999
I thought about the idea to change the head a few weeks ago and found this one after long searching all Simsons toys. Eureka moment!
It was all a gamble on size and if it would work out because I bought via eBay. Now I think it’s the best Mod ever for TSPP and you should try! But it’s not a 5min job.
I had to cut the blue legs. Grind the inner body with a Dremel to fit the legs into his body. This all to make it all adjustable to fit on the playfield. Problem is the turning angle and Homers right arm touching the metal guide. But he’s too tall to fit below the glass. You need to cut some off him.
Second is attaching Homer to the metal plate. I removed the long stick through his original head but could not reuse it because the new head needs to wobble.
Fortunatelly his feet fit exactelly into the metal baseplate.
I will share some pics later. Its not a clean solution but it works well for now as a test.
Cheers
