The other thing I have been thinking about..... Is there a way to make the flippers sound less clunky? I was thinking about putting some sound deadening foam in the cab.

I was thinking this same thing. The metal on metal sound is unnecessarily loud. Did you try this?

I don't find Alien Invasion crazy hard to get to, but it is pretty damn hard to complete it ... I was a little disappointed in the conclusion to it. They muttered something like ''you win this time''

I completely agree. I was expecting something more. I still haven't reached the Super Duper Mega Extreme Wizard mode yet and I hope it's bigger and better. I love how deep a rule set this game has and I love the challenge it brings.

well, to me woz and tspp are very similar (i mean, duh, same coders
I do think TSPP is a very nice looking pin in general. It's hard to believe it's as old as it is now, but it has stood the test of time, and it definitely has a ''classic'' feel compared to the newer sterns ... It could be one of the greatest pins ever? ..possibly.

I agree, I think TSPP is one of the greatest pins ever. I'm surprised it's not higher on the pinside charts.

Hey all, thought I'd give a heads up that the newest set of rule cards I've designed are for TSPP!
Feel free to download

Beautiful design, nice work!

Calling all TSPP pinball owners, if you haven't reviewed TSPP on IPDB.org, please head over there and give it straight 10s:

http://www.ipdb.org/machine.cgi?id=4674

Currently TSPP is ranked 21st and is rated a 8.07/10, and I just think that's a travesty.

Wondering if anyone is making shooter rods yet featuring any of the Simpsons family/characters...don't like the donut one. Thanks.

Paging Dr mikespins ... He makes the best shooter rods!

I've recently set my The Simpsons Pinball Party to extra easy and lowered other settings in hopes of finally making it to Super Duper Mega Extreme Wizard Mode (SDMEWM). I absolutely love this pinball game and think it is the perfect machine to own at home for any Simpsons fan. It's so deep and has so much replayability.

I can get to Alien Invasion on hard too. Completing Alien Invasion is another story. Hard but possible.

I only know that once I get to SDMEWM and lose it, that I will want to try it again, and again. And I will

Is there a timer to SDMEWM? I am curious without trying to learn too much so its not spoiled.

Any ideas on how to get the game to detect a ball that went into the garage beyond replacing the VUK yet again?

Making sure we are on the same page... I don't think you need to replace the VUK again. The VUK is the thing that kicks the ball back up, unless you mean the VUK as the whole mecahnism. There is a VUK switch that detects that the ball is in the hole and then tells the game to fire the VUK to kick it back into the playfield.

I would recommend removing the glass, opening the coin door and using the Dr. Pinball diagnostics tool to test each of the switches. You can see if the switch above the kicker detects a ball.

EDIT: Oops, I replied to an older post that has been replied to. Let me catch up. I'll still leave my comments.
