The previous thread did not include a poll and since you can not edit poll choices I figured I'd create a new thread with poll.

I have quoted the OP of the other thread

Quoted from sadler28:

Taking my collection from 2 games to 5. I have MET and JD. Love both games because of depth and modes. I'll have NGG and EBD here soon and have the budget and space for 1 more.
I love the theme of TSPP and heard it's deep. Never played it though. I like the idea of IMVE because I've heard it's fast and difficult, but I've never really gotten into superhero stuff.
Leaning IMVE for times when I only have 30 mins to play a few games. I think TSPP is long like MET when you get a game going?
Any input from folks that have played both would be greatly appreciated. Even better if you can give input as a collection of 5 machines.

Here is MY take on both as I have both and they are both great

IMVE
Pro
- much newer so it's only 3 years old and likely has less wear and tear better sound
- has nice cabinet decals ( if they are stuck on correctly) and had a nice head metal speaker panel and better receiver for the translight (IMO)
-is fantastic with shaker (one of the best integrations)
-has GREAT movie quotes and good custom voice callouts
-it's very quick and very little stop and go (great flow) short games but you can get a good way to Jereco or DOD hurry up in one ball
-had the Monger one of the coolest toys in pinball (Where do you think you're going?)
-it fights back (War Machine)
-three spinners

Con
-not much of a skill shot
-rules are abbreviated (this is fun for multi play but maybe boring if you have a small collection)
-Dots are godawful it's pathetic but improved greatly with color DMD
-peg legs and snappy clips
-can be too brite (but I like brite games it's ok for me)

Tspp
Pros
-deep rules (really deep)
-great call outs (Way to go dude)
-great dots
-lots of shots, and toys, upper PF, ball lock
-great art
-different layout, like a mini TZ or WoZ
-upper PF is great
-great if you have a small collection because there is a lot to discover

Cons
-stop and go a lot (some like this but it's more TZ-ish)
-Sound could be better
-cabinet artwork looks a little faded and pixilated
-some don't like the Doh mode
-one long ramp (I know there are 3 ramps but the left and couch ramp are kind of mini ramps)
-older so generally has more wear and tear
-kind of dark, I did a full LED conversion but in stock form was too dark for my taste
-can have Long games (that's not terrible but I've read that some people find it a drag at 30+ minutes) but I don't have long games yet since I'm not very good

I voted for Tspp only because I already have Tron, TWD pro and Met pro and while I think IMVE is as good as those three they are all in the same mold (partly) and Tspp is just real different to me. So if I was to ax one or the other I'd ax IMVE or Tron they are about tie in my mind.

Currently Met pro and TWD pro are my newest games so I would keep those and sell Tron (4 years) or IMVE (3 years in my collection). But overall all four of my Borg games are equal and valid to have in my collection because they all feel different just not as different as Tspp which almost feels like a different company than recent Stern pins.
