The Simpsons Pinball Party
Stern, 2003Just got my TSPP. I've ordered a Moe's Tavern playset to mod into the back right corner.
Wondering if any of you have done much with the GI lighting (I think there's about 10 lights at the very back of the PF that could be replaced with various colours).
Has anyone out there changed them up, and if so, can you share some pics? Maybe plain old white is the way to go?
White. Done. Simpsons is plenty colorful & is lit beautifully by white light. Colorbombing it will just monochrome things for no reason.
Whether you LED the game or not, put LEDs (preferably PBL's 4-LED) in the spotlights. This brings the game to life in an amazing way.

That was my reservation with TSPP and LEDs....but the fades with modern LEDs (I'm mostly using CT Premiums) are much less choppy than older generation LEDs. It's still not SMOOOOOTH smooth, but at the end of the day I felt the trade off for the color vibrancy was worth it.
