The only reason I can think of for the terminal is that the original wire was broken/cut and wouldn't reach to the flipper switch anymore so they connected it to the terminal block and then extended the fat grey wire from the terminal block to the switch. Must be somehow crossed wired but not sure how
I could be wrong. Anyone else with an explanation of the terminal connect?
Maybe get rid of the terminal block and just solder extensions to the too short wires.
