I'm having a similar problem with the upper flippers, except that they respond with a delay upon some circumstances. Could this be a power issue?

Quoted from phishrace:Both of them? Rare that both upper switches would go out of adjustment at the same time, but the first thing to do is to check those switches. If they're cross hatch switches (contacts look like a piece of wire soldered onto switch blade), make sure no 'hatches' have broken off and that the outside contacts are making good contact.
I play over at an arcade and have had no experience with fixing the machines up. They both work. There's just a delay if there are too many things going on. I'm thinking it's a power issue, since some images on the DMD are burning off ("The Simpsons" comes off after "Pinball Party" shows up, etc.). But it also could be what you said.
The TV also isn't working (but I'm thinking that it's not hooked up properly).
