I bought a trailer load of parts over the weekend and I am trying to ID some of the stuff. One item I am trying to figure out is a relay board from a Bally machine. It has the metal bracket for the "service position" like is used in an ON BEAM. I have never seen that set up before what other machines used that style relay board with the entire relay board able to pull out like On Beam?

Also this relay board has an "add a ball" stepper and the unique leaf switch stacks on reset bank & score motor that look similar to a Chicago Coin machine. Could it be anything else other than On Beam? That stuff doesn't look like it was used on many Bally machines?

    THANKS!

2 of the Bally games I have in my possession have the "lift-out mounting board" I think they did away with it when they introduced the newer style coin door

I am not familiar with the add-a-ball relay or any documentation on how to make it work.

1967 Rocket III also has the lift out motor board. As a side note, it's really cool as you can run the machine with the relay board raised, playfield and canopy glass both hinged up.

On Beam is listed as Add-A-Ball convertible which on several games of that era is a plug in relay (Rocket III, Surfers, MiniZag etc) but the On Beam schematic clearly shows a 5 position Add-A-Ball stepper unit.

Minizag has a lift-up relay board, too. Very handy design!
