Picked up a Stern Rolling Stones today. Marchine is playing great except for this one lane is not registering the ball.

I looked and can’t find. A switch for it. Does anyone have a picture or something for me to look for for the switch here.

Waiting for the new rubbers before I start tearing it down but figured I’d ask here first.

Thanks

No. There isn’t a rollover from what I’ve found. Looked both on top and under playfield and I don’t see anything.

That’s because there’s no switch in that position!
There’s an optical sensor which detects the ball.

If it’s working you should see one side lit up in red(emitting side).
You probably need to replace these if they’re not working.
Go into switch test to make sure they detect the ball.

The pop bumper exit switch, aka the Charlie shot, is an opto pair. Follow the wires from each of the optos under the playfield to where they plug into a small board. Reseat each of the connectors and see if it works. Switch and part numbers are listed in the manual.

Quoted from Bingovit:

If it’s working you should see one side lit up in red(emitting side).

On Stern's optos you should see both sides lit up in red. Same part both sides.
