Pinball is inherently subjective and emotional. That's why there's more than one game, and why the word "Amusement" shows up so often. Some things make games more or less fun to individuals. Intellect and reason would suggest that a good ETF is a much better place to store money than a pinball machine, and yet we're all here.

Different things bother different people. Personally, I don't care for lightning flippers, and I think spinners are really fun. Thinking about a guy abusing kids detracts from my experience, so I will choose to avoid it whenever possible. Someone else will have a different judgment about that, and that's fine, but I don't think that either position is one of intellectual superiority or the triumph of reason over emotion.

Don't buy the upcoming Motley Crue pin next year either.

I think everyone can agree the situation being discussed here is grotesque.
That being said, I'm not going to run out and sell my machine cheap or burn it in lieu of the current circumstances.
On a long enough timeline when this isn't current news being thrown in everybody face the sentiment about the pins will die down.
After all people have no issue buying Volkswagens.

On all of these machines there was an entire design team involved.
In essence boycotting one of these machines is also boycotting the work of that entire design team.
This is a sad situation all around.

While I agree with you; this does bring up the Michael Jackson question again. There was a large team working producing his music, but in this case it is actually his voice you hear making it more in your face than a pinball machine. Hard for me to believe that people can still listen to his music. Of course I never liked his music in the least bit to begin with, so it is easy for me to swear off for life.

This also brings up the question of whether JT did any voice work in any of his games or even other games? It would actually kind of suck to find out he was the one who said "TX Tx tx..."
