I'm currently doing my first complete restoration of a TAF. I have an issue wiring up the trough. The matrix tells me that the outhole has a GRN-BRN WHT-GRY wire connected to it. The problem is that the green wire has the micro switch connector on it and I can't fit that into the switch leg. Am I reading something wrong?
Also, could anyone tell me where these diodes in tubes go to? I'm a bit confused by this and couldn't find any photos of this area.

Instead of wiring them on the switch, they are wired like this - white wire ( and a stripe of some color ) - black end of diode - silver band end of diode - switch lug.
Then the tube over them to protect them.
