On occasion the Trough Up-Kicker coil doesn't kick a ball up, it fires but just doesn't get the ball up. If I go and run the coil test it will then pop the ball up. Is this a sign the coil is going bad or is there something else that I maybe able to look at (say the spring on the coil) and replace?

No it’s not the coil going bad what you need to do is a bit of cleaning.Clean the coil,coil sleeve,spring,plunger ect... When testing that coil in coil test it has a bit more power than it would during a game.Oh and do not use any chemicals or spray just use a dry rag ok
