Having an issue with segments for remaining balls not working. Strobes 7 & 8... I have 4.5 volts coming in on the plug and there’s voltage to the glass, but no segments. Am I to assume it’s an issue with the glass or could it still be elsewhere?

Are any other digits missing on other displays?

#3 5 years ago

Anyone have a schematic for only the system 3-6 master display?

#4 5 years ago

Nope. Only the master display. The two digits next to the credits.

#5 5 years ago

The ones to the right of where it shows 23 credits.

Have voltage to segments on display and it lights up.

I'd imagine either the display glass has issues or it's a connector issue. But two next to each other seems unlikely. Do you have a logic probe or anything?

Repin the three display data connectors on the CPU board.

Does this help?

I would say that either IC 4 or IC 1 is broken.

Thanks for the information... I’ll let you know what I come up with soon. The schematics will certainly help, mine were terrible.

Here goes nothing... Chip was nearly as much as the display board. Wish me luck.

Well, imagine that... it worked. Now can anyone tell me why the other digit is stuck on 22? lol

Because there are 22 credits on the game? Turn off free play and see if starting a game decrements the number. Also, if you have your game set to award credits for specials, etc, the number will increment even if on freeplay.
