Helping someone get a couple issues resolved on their Williams Blackout. One is obvious, two PCB boards on back of the center drop target are not attached. But am wondering if this is causing the game to not see a proper reset, and/or breaking circuit to affect the upper right drop target set from resetting/popping back up. Also, it doesn't kick out the ball on power up. Maybe related?

Going to get his one drop target either replaced or worst case, fixed with longer screws to mount the boards. Hoping the game sees it properly again, resolving the second drop target reset and the outhole not kicking the ball out.

The boards have to be attached. Williams games of this era do not 'remember' which targets have been knocked down. There is a circuit that is completed by the horseshoe wipers and once all targets are down the circuit completes and triggers the MPU to reset the bank.

Thank you, that's what I thought! Makes sense that would affect other areas of the game. I'll fix or replace his drop target and see if that resolves the other two symptoms.
