Hey all,

I’ve recently bought a CFTBL and I’m trying to raise the playfield but I’m having no luck getting it to lock in to place as I try and slide it toward the front of the machine.

I can do the 1st step fine of lifting it enough to clear the front, but as I try and slide it out it just won’t lock in to place with that telltale click.

I tried to raise the playfield but it would only pivot a few degrees before something stopped the movement, so I lowered it back down, tried sliding the playfield in and out a little before trying again. By doing that I got it to raise higher, maybe to about 80 degrees. but I’d obviously not done the earlier step correctly so it wasn’t locked in to place & it wouldn’t pivot far enough to rest upright. (My wife had to hold it up for a couple of moments while I took these photos.)

Are those metal strips attached to the back end of the playfield meant to be sitting on the wood?

Does anyone have any tips? I’m pretty sure those springs aren’t meant to be like that, however I wasn’t sure if that would cause this?
Thanks!

When I slide it forward the piece of metal sits under both pegs instead of on one like in that site. Maybe I’m not lifting the playfield high enough as I pull it forward?
