Two reasons I want a Tron VE on the market despite owning one :
1> In all likelihood, it will have the retro-Tron artwork.
2> They will manufacture new ramps that I need badly.
I don't think a VE means that older Trons will take a hit in price. A VE is going to be $7K ... Stern doesn't want a VE to compete against new pins. If older pros take a hit in price, it won't be much.
Also, if you are collecting pins and treating them as a retirement fund, you are far, far better off investing that money elsewhere ... you will get a much nicer return .... that will allow you to buy more pins (unless you were collecting NIB pins from 1980-1999 or so ... if you did that, you have a fortune ).
