Some standardisation of the Pro/LE makes a hell of a lot of sense... From what I can glean from the forums, for instance, that a shaker motor in a pro hardly ever rumbles, but on a LE it's much better implemented - surely just like some of the other updates in the past it should be a case of standardising the functions and a no brainer?
Plus the extra ball on LE for shooting the ramps 4x? How can that be so hard?
I liked someone's post earlier that the video mode should be a left right light cycle trip thru a 3D maze - and reward getting to the end with an animation of a hole being blown in the wall (as per the movie) and the bike exit it - clearly a logical place for an extra ball too!
I also think the software should be able to turn off/on LE features such as the drop targets, fibre which would allow people to add them to a pro (stern: sell a kit!) but do handstand if this will cheese off LE owners!
Like the sea of simulation (plus portal) ball save timer - very very logical addition, indeed a game setting to toggle the ball save is sensible.
I hate the ba ba ba bum Tron! Sound, but would happily live with it when the Tron insert light went solid
Also liked the Idea of a music volume and a speech volume so you could adjust to personal taste.
Having not played a LE, don't really know how good the Daft Punk mode is, but if a pro could handle it, why not.... Can't get a LE now!
Oh, and as a suggestion (for LE owners) from what I've seen on YouTube it doesn't currently do it, but for me I'd experiment with pulsing the fibre with either yellow or blue as each of the entrance/exit ramps are triggered, or if not, even flickering the fibre off would create a great sensation of the light cycle speeding!
Also, as I have, if you set replay and/or special to reward an Extra ball rather than points or whatever, code should show the extra ball code (animation?) rather than Replay!
