Hi guys. I just picked up a fresh off route Tron. It has 3600 total quarters put through it. I am wondering what this game is worth as it is. I don’t know what I am going to do with it yet. But would like to have an idea of what it is worth. Manual still stapled inside and goodie bag is there also.

Clean it up and enjoy it! TRON is pure pinball magic. It's worth 5k-5.5k in the unmodded condition after cleanup.

I guess if I was going to buy this game I would figure this way:

Some super loaded HUO's have recently gone for mid 7K range. While not all mods do you expect to get dollar for dollar for, some you can like Color DMD, Upgraded speakers , Chrome armor, shaker because you can take them off and put on another game. This is one game where certain mods are really desirable. Eli's ramp lights, lighted cycles, Flynn sign, arcade mod and they are all pretty expensive. Take them off a game and you would have a pretty much bare bones HUO in say excellent condition. What would that sell for (not a lot around cause this game gets modded)? Say 6K?
So now I would look at your game. Pretty good looking routed game. Has a few rubs on the cabinet decals. Did not see the shooting lane but the play field looked nice and should clean up well. When you put for sale on pinside you may hear a lot of talk about the negatives. Just saying.
I want a Tron back in the collection some time.
More likely to want to go for a heavily modded one priced like above, but I would consider this one as is (assuming no major operating problems ) in the low 5K range.
This game flys out of your hands at 4900

No way should anyone pay 5600 for tron in that condition. Pick up some of the heavily modded huo's for a thousand or so more.

Go find one. Never seen a tron pro for less than 5500 / 5600. You dreaming.

And don’t forget not everyone has the extra 1400 hundred plus for the loaded pro. Sellers of base games know that

Mine was modded pretty heavily but because it was “routed” for 60 days I barely got $5,500 in the last 6 months

Just added my Tron - play it more than anything.
(Except Beatles - people who like Stern classics and all gens of pin do not know what they are missing with this.).

Tron is the ONLY Stern Pro that has risen in price over the last 10 years.
Must be a reason for that.

Lucky bastard. And I can say that because the way you're asking this, you obviously way underpaid for it LOL. Should clean up nice, I'm jealous, even having owned Tron Pro twice before.

Look at some of the past trons that have sold recently. There was a beautiful one in TN that sold for 6700... it was HUO and was LOADED: color dmd ($450), topper (~$200), eli ramps( $400) FULL Chrome ( $500+), arcade mod ( $300), shaker ($100), LED OCD($150) recognizer ~($100), full leds, misc other nice mods.. $2.2k + in mods easy, PLUS HUO and it sat for MONTHS! Why on earth would you spend $5600 for a bone stock beat tron. After you redo the decals on this tron ($300) + labor, what are you saving???... how are you going to add the wood back to the arcade hole? If its a great deal at $5600, you buy it. lol.

#12 4 years ago

Just about anyone looking to buy a Tron is going to add something to it in addition to the basic maintenance this one needs. You're then 6k into this?! No way for me--I'd fine a loaded Tron for a few hundred more than this and forget installing the Eli ramp mod or anything else that is missing here.

Because that’s over a g more and not everyone is on pinside. Cleaned up it will get 5600. Trust me

And by the way, have a Tron le that I got new from dealer so I’m sure that price won’t make you happy. Lol

sold mine 2 yrs ago for 5300 freshly shopped, not a scratch.

So a used TRON pro goes for same price as a brand new pro game now? You all wonder why Stern keeps raising prices. Good example right here.
