First check to see if the switches on the recognizer are to tight/close, so a "rumble" or coil fire initiates a switch hit.
If they look good, you may have a cross in wire(s) somewhere. You could check continuity between a switch lug and the shooter lane or whatever switch you think is causing the recognizer hit. Or it could be worse and be something on the board, bad chip etc.
