Thanks guys. All set. the Smart power strip is the answer. sorry for doubting at first but install understanding the technical reason behind it i wasnt buying it. There is an RF noise filter built into most smart strips. This is the reason. All set!
Strange. I am still getting interference after playing a bunch of games. It doesnt it do it near as bad, but is still randomly awarding disk counts even without going into the disk. It does not do it when the lights are off. Anybody have any other ideas? Should i try a different power adapter? Im just using a standard 12v 1 amp power adapter.
Edit to previous. Ive got the el wire working. Make sure you use a good quality power adapter. the older linksys wireless routers used a high quality adapter. It is about 2.5 by 2 inches and weighs a lot more than your typical power adpater. Clean power coming from a noise filtering smart power strip is the way to go. Thanks
