Where's my spinner/lockdown? (then we don't even need a shooter lane, do we?)
PF art is a little mailed-in/Star Trekky. But it's a first draft so we're cool Otherwise I like where you're going. Need more!

looking forward to more of the reveal
Quoted from labnip:i was also thinking about those things and how the arcade game Dragon's Lair operates.
In Dragon's Lair, you're moving through a sequence (which could show on the playfield monitor), then options appear and you get a certain amount of time to choose an option. Sometimes a selected option (a few scoops on left, a few scoops in middle, a few scoops on right : not always active at same time, represent options): put a ball in certain ones and it:
A.) kills you (1 or more flippers stop working for a while),
B.) takes you down another path (choose your own adventure).
another example:
if the light-cycle (as an example) is racing across the grid on the playfield monitor.
and in the 3D distance you can see your light-cycle is heading for a wall (directly ahead), but on the left if an open area. The left 2 scoops pop-up and turn green on the physical playfield.
if you can get a ball into either of those scoops, you light-cycle moves left and avoids the obstacle. If you don't do it in time the light-cycle hits obstacle and explodes into digital chunks.
seems like fun, and you don't have to spend much time watching the playfield monitor, as it is mostly a passive animation with just a count-down happening as it gets closer to obstacle. then player can keep eye on ball(s).
seems like fun.
What is all this "scoops" talk that you and BTW bring up? Am I totally schnockered or did I miss something? Are you two sharing top secret TP inside info? (and can we call it TP?) Was there some announcement that this the scoopiest pin ever? How many scoops are we talking? I'm in for two, three scoops tops. After that it becomes too scoopy for me.

I'd completely skip the human world part. Once you press start you see the scene with Flynn sucked into the computer
Maybe just play the trailer during attract for the backstory?
That MCP is so awesomely ridiculous. I want one bad. If you cut the top off could it be used as a beer mug?
Quoted from Frax:It is for me. And I'm off work in 2 hours. Thank CHRIST.
Definitely a rug, or at least an identity disc-shaped coaster. Is there a VIP party? What kind of libations are served on the grid anyways? My standards are incredibly high and I require perks
