Dunno as of yet. Rumors are that the prototypes may be ready at the end of the month. If this is true, then we may get the first sighting/playing at the NW Pinball Show next month. Avatar made its debut at PPE last year two weeks before the debut tournaments were even announced.

So, we can only hope...

I hope they continue the three tournaments they've been having in Cascadia. I don't really understand the choice of the Seattle Waterfront Arcade for the last two (Avatar and Rolling Stones) as there is not a lot of room in there, especially for the usual crowd plus 50+ pinball players and all the rubberneckers. Dorky's in Tacoma had a Rolling Stones debut tournament that was very well-attended. I think more Seattle people will be at the TRON debut there this time. There's also one in Portland.

I agree with you on both points entirely, gweempose!
GameWorks does not emphasize pinball, judging by the conditions of the machines. At least in Seattle, I dunno if other GameWorks feel the same way. The Iron Man debut tournament was held there, though. Even though the bar staff wasn't very good at all (absolute crap according to Jawn, fellow pinhead and bartender straight out of Speakeasy or Champion Pub), there was enough room for the 50 or so people who attended and it was a good time all around.
Which is why we were all confused when the Avatar debut tournament was held in the much-more-crowded Seattle Waterfront Arcade.

Les Voros-Bond, who runs Dorky's in Tacoma, went all out setting things up for the Rolling Stones debut tournament. The three games were in an alcove so you definitely got the sound experience, and Les had even rigged up stage lighting above the games! Very cool indeed! Can't wait to see what he's planning for the TRON debut!
