I wanted to guage the interest level before starting a project. I recently added the light cycle mod to my Tron Pro. There really isn't a kit out there (that I've seen), so Im thinking about making one.
Kit could come with all the the light cycles all wired up with their individual connectors.

If this is a mod you've been wanted to do but don't feel doing all the wiring, please let me know. if you know of a kit that someone is doing, please let me know that as well..

Not making any promises right now, just guaging the demand.

Thanks,
TK

I'm not aware of anyone doing this. I think its a great idea.

#3 11 years ago

interested

#4 11 years ago

I would be interested as well.

#5 11 years ago

Interested and could send you the bikes too.

#6 11 years ago

I'm in!!!

The cycles were the most annoying of all the mods, because it was not plug and play. I'm surprised no one has tried before.

Me too.

Too bad Steve and I just bought cycles for ours, lol. I'm capable of doing the mod, just lazy. Didn't realize people were hooking these things up to molex, thought they were just soldering them to a GI line.

Guess I have to track down the molex pin/housing.

I'm in. I was going to post a thread asking if someone would build me one.

#12 11 years ago

Thanks for the feedback guys. Also, thats a good point about if you have the bikes allready purchased - I'd be open to having a process for buying pre built ones and one for sending me your bikes.

I'm going to do a little research on how much they would need to be, and how many is feasable.
More to come later on specifically how I would build them.

#13 11 years ago

I would be interested

I have kits started posting them over the weekend.
There is plenty of market for it. Posted here also posted on Bash.

Thokennedy pm'd you.

I'd be interested. with a kit what would the install be like?

I hear the descriptions of the process now and my eyes glaze over and i decide "well i guess i don't need lit cycles after all..."

#16 11 years ago

I'd love them to I'm in hopefully postage to Australia isn't to much

#17 11 years ago

Yeah, I wasn't interested just based on the amount of work. So depending on cost, Id be interested in your pre-made kits.

#18 11 years ago

I'd be interested in sending my Light Cycles out. I have no clue about wiring, but I know about plugging in connectors.

#19 11 years ago

Interested

#20 11 years ago

I am interested in something premade, where it is literally plug and play.

I'd have to say the demand is not very high as I've not received many orders since I developed a a Hallmark LC Wiring Harness & a TRON Hallmark / Light Cycle / Plastics Protectors Kit & in June of 2011.
I've had the TRON Hallmark/LC Kits FS via word-of-mouth since then & recently listed them on my site.
I had PinBits Laser cut .060 PETG Plastics Protectors with Micro-Switch mounts to actuate the internal Electronics on each ramp shot (time varies from 10 - 18 seconds)

I dont see them on the site man, where are they?

I don’t see them either but it is so hard to read this site.

Yeah, I'm looking too. Do you have a video to show how it works? Especially when the ball hit the switch during a ramp shot.

Just below the "TRON Legacy Recognizer MOD"
FWIW the Plastics Protectors go under your Ramp Plastics & the ones I've show still have the Plastic protective film on them.

Here's a link to them in action.
